ID my pike plz.

please ID the yellowish goldish pike. just bout him at the LFS.. if the new pike i just bought a sp. venezula what are the darker color pikes? i have had other people id the darker pikes as venezuala

the bigger ones with the thicker black band look like johannas. the small one wiht thin black band and small caudal spot looks like a sp. 'venezuela'

Aye. The new pikes that are more 'goldish' and have more spangles on them are definitely sp. 'venezuela' , all the other ones that are darker, with the thicker lateral band are johanna. Fun times.

Normally around the 10 to 12" range before they really start to show their popping adult colors.
