ID my SH

picked this guy up today at my lfs. couldn't resist. He's about 5-6". He was sold to me as an albino, but can't id bc of his color. SH experts help me out!!

it's an albino striata, I have one and it's the nastiest fish I've owned. Currently 10 or 11 inches. It kills everything, accepts no tankmates.

i dunno if its albino don't albino fish have a pinkish eye? I think it may be a platinum or leusistic. In which case SWEET!

Yes I think it's a platinum. It's white with normal eyes. Mine is yellowish with red eyes.

Very nice fish.

I've been told that it's a channa striata from a few other people now.

I was hoping that it wasn't a gachua.

Nothing wrong with gachua's, but I wanted a big boy!!!

It's a leusistic varient... not certain what species it is tho? nice pickup!

Yea... i was thinking he was a leusistic varient also. It's almost like a yellowish/gold color. Also, bc it's pupils aren't red, but it does have some pink/red on the outer region of it's eye.

I've had redlines and gachuas in the past, but this guy is by farrr the meanest!!!
