Just got those guy's.
ID them for me! I think i know some sp. but im not sure!
Planning on getting more of those sp.
Is there any Posssibility too breed any?
Then who of those and what do you need in your tank?
Do they have too be alone in the tank?
I think thats a Syno. Angelicus or Talking Cat.

I also have 2x Upside Down Cats, are thei possible too breed?
How can i tell the difference of a female and a male of all those synos and Upside Down?

1st- not angelicus. I dont know exactly what it is, a better picture could help. But i can tell you from that picture it is for sure not angelicus. Although if i had to venture a guess it would be Synodontis nigromaculatus or even Synodontis nigrita

2nd- Synodontis eupterus

3rd- could be decous. but ive seen quite a few "zebra hybrids" that have popped up. But i think its a decorus.

4th- i really dont know a side view would help

What are all those fish maximum sizes?

1- based on my guesses
Synodontis nigromaculatus - 13"
Synodontis nigrita - 7"
2- synodontis eupterus - 8" but most likely it will top out around 6" or so

3- Synodontis decorus- 10"

4- no idea- could be easier to ID as it gets older.

Seem's like you have this covered, i agree with you

Number one could also be S acanthomias and four maybe a young S nigrita.
Keep us updated on number one, be interested to see how it grows :)

thanks,

and i looked at acanthomias, but to me the snout didnt look long enough. but i do agree it could be that as well, and that grows to be 19" so with all these different sizes we will find out what it is here pretty darn soon.

And if its S acanthomias, it will be on its own very soon as they are boisterous, well thats putting it lightly more like a Syno wyckii :naughty:

19"whaaaat, i thought these would'nt grow to maximum 8"
Im still glad too have a monster:grinno::naughty:

i sure hope so. Or a acanthomias because of the size!
