ID my wifes new pet.

I am pretty sure I know what it is after checking other threads but would like confirmation. It came out of a mixed SA/CA tank at my LFS and my wife chose it because it looked mean. She liked the teeth.

Also I have a few better pics of her Jag. Could anyone sex it for her?

The Fisrt fish is a Parachromis Dovii and seems to be a male, and for the jag i say male also.

yeah I thought it was a Dovii. she said she wanted a monster so now I say I want a bigger tank

You're right, you'll need a BIG tank to keep those two together.

As stated before thats a dovii i really doubt tht they will work together soon the dovii will clame the tank and most likely kill the jag you would need a huge tank to try and keep those two together ESP if they were both male

Its a little soon to try and sex your jag but to me the fins totally say female

if things look like they are getting bad I will go pick up a 300 gal Rubbermaid for the Dovii
