ID My "Wood" Pleco

I was hoping someone could id this guy for me.
picked him up yesterday @ the lfs,it was in a tank full of commons.
My niece said I should get him because he was different then all the rest,& looked
like he was made of wood.So why not,he was only 3.99.

That is a common L137 Red bruno pleco. The fins will become very red, and will be an awesome addition to your tank. I have one, and he has beautiful fins. Not the greatest algae eater though.

thanks for the id,his fins are already slightly red,cant see it in the pic.
hes about 3.5-4"

Yeah, his fins maybe slightly red, but give it a month on good foods and they will be a nice dark red.

thanks,no real spots,but a few bits that are alittle darker then the rest,close to the body

just wondered... some do some dont. nice bruno though. i always thought their patterning was weird
