The only things I know about it is that its wild caught and bought in as orinocensis but what do you think cichla experts?

I'm not good at id'ing mono/ocellaris but I would say its mono, and definitively not orinocensis.

Thanks for the ID but it isnt a farmie its confirmed to be wild caught but obviously labeled as the wrong species

i'm no expert but that pbass looks like a mono i have, except the three vertical bars drop below the lateral line on this guy, seems more ocellaris-like. no unibrow too like most mono, unless its just hiding it in that pic. i would say definitely not orino. looks good and healthy though!
