Hello guys,

A Happy New Year from Bombay, India!

I saw these Polys for sale at a store.

Hopefully, these will be my Christmas+New Year's present to myself.

Can someone ID the ones in this video besides the Senegals and Albino Senegals?

There is at least one Endlicheri.. What are the others? (Especially the dark one?)

Experts on another forum IDed some of these as Dels, the rest as Endlis, (i.e. besides the Senegals and Albino Senegals).

Thank you,
Sid

I saw at least 2 of them. One of them is at the bottom at 0:09, another swims past it at 0:10, and I think the one in the center in the very beginning may be another del, but it's hard to tell.

I had to correct myself... I'm not sure if the one in the center was actually a del after seeing that it looks like a lower-jaw at the very end, and I just realized that the one at 0:24 is actually the same one that was shown at 0:10..... very hard to ID fish from such a fast moving vid. :D

Thanks guys.

I think I have enough information to ID Dels and differentiate them from Endlis. (I know it must be very easy for you guys, but I am just a noob in Poly :) )

This was the 1st time I have seen Dels in India and I hope to get at least two of them.

I already have a 11" Endli and it is easily one of my favorite fish. This is also only the third time I have seen Endlis for sale. I am, hence, considering buying one or two Endli's as well.

I will post the pics if the deal go through.

Thanks again.

Sid

PS: A Happy New Year to you all!

One more quick question:

@ 00:32 The fish in the center of the screen (above the Albino Sen in the foregound) is almost definitely an Endli.

@ 00:26: Which is the dark bichir at the right of the screen? This same fish swims upwards around @00:35 and 00:36 (the last frames of the video).
