ID needed please - LFS fish

I have no idea what this guy is, never seen an image of it before, so I don't know where to begin looking. I thought he looked cool, so I'm hoping one of you guys know. I'm guessing he's a catfish, the rest of his body continued on like that of a knife. Sorry for the quality of the pic - the LFS tank had water marks all over it, and I used my cell camera.

Any more pics? I can't see it very well.
 
That's all I've got. I didn't have much time, so I couldn't stay to take any better. Frankly, the outside of the tank was so dirty, I couldn't have done any better unless they actually gave a damn and cleaned. I asked if they could, and they were busy eating - they said they'd be wiping the outsides of tanks later in the day (yeah right).

If it's any help - I'd estimate the fish was 12-14" in length.
