I've done the same thing mine was very small when bought it couldn't tell at first , still nice fish mayan's
 
Mayan. I got sold a Mayan labeled festae, but not a loss at all. Mayans are very cool, and mine are mean as hell. But I like mean fish so hopefully you do too. I'm assuming yes since you are getting New world cichlids, and "festae" at that.
