Got this cichlid with assorted peacock cichlids, well he's no peacock. Had him for a year, he was 2" when we got him and is now 5". Tried looking up several types of hybrids and natural types and still can't figure out the kind he is. Anyone had one of these before?

Thanks to anyone with advice/facts

It could be a generic female peacock, or coming from a "mixed ciclid" tank, a hybrid of any number of species. These days peacocks could be genera Aulonocara, Copatochromis, or any number of mixed Africans. The slightly orange pectoral and other lower body fins could be telling, I didn't notice until I brightened up the pics.
It also appears to have a few (maybe) ick spots above and behind the eye. If it were me, I'd add some salt, at a rate of 3.5 lbs per 100 gallons just to be safe.
