ID of fish

Can i get an ID of this fish? caught it in a net of minnows and i believed it to be a carp, so i took it home and was going to kill it, but now i'm not so sure.

that was my second guess. i was actually going to use it as catfish bait, but somehow i left my polls up with my grandparents so that was out, so i ended up killing it with a quick wack to the head (it was out cold then) and cut it up for cutbait when i get my polls back.

How could you confuse that with a carp????? there is nothing similar about them...

Body shape is kinda like a carp i guess
