Id on my catfish

I bought this cat fish a few months ago at my lfs and was told it was a syno of some sort and was fully grown! It hasn't grown anymore but i love the way it looks and was just wondering what kind of fish it is! Any help is appreciated thanks in advance!

He's about 6 inches long is that as large as he will get? I have him in my 125 with mixed south American cichlids

I just looked up pics of the feather fin and mine has spotting very similar but the top fin is nothing like that so I'm not sure!

Featherfin = Synodontis euptera is a different fish with different spotting and finnage and body shape: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=121

The shot is not the best to rule out hybrids completely but I am rather sure it is a purebred ocellifer.
