ID on peacock cichlid, yellow head, female?

Really hard to get any good pictures of this fish as it moves so fast and randomly, i got a few and a video of it. I think its a female as it hasn't colored the same as the other fish in my tank that i think are males. Sorry for the blurry picture, only have an iphone to work with atm.

Looks like a aulonocara maylandi. I would say its a male thats just starting to get color, but I could be wrong...it could just be a beautiful female

I caught the fish and it was my first time venting but i think it is too small at the moment.
Probably about 4cm in length 1.6 inches or whatever it is in inches.
