Well I don't have any pictures right now..but i'll put em up later. He/she is kinda like a green frog except of the green back its brownish. It does not have a yellow throat.. It has a few splotches with a bronze color on the side of its belly.. and it was found in mid lower new york in a creek in the woods.. Kind of resembles a bull frog but it has spots on its back so im not sure..

sounds like a female bull frog or a pickerel frog. maybe a green frog, but they have yellow throat... pixs will really help in this process...

Nope its neither hmm.. It seems like it can barely swim cuz it sinks in the water then struggles alot to swim to shore kind of like its hurt

well we got some pictures.. Putting em on soon.. I think im starting to forget how to ID frogs and I have lost my touch with catching them... Well the one in question has a broken foot(i think) so he kinda sinks..or hes missing a bone in his foot

Ok the pics are now in my gallery.. the ID one usually has ID.. I beleive the other two with it are a green with the yellow throat and a bull frog? Also i put a few pics of a baby bull frog

hmm yeah thats what i am starting to think.. It was just the fact..that it sunk and could barely swim that made me wonder

that is an american bullfrog, eastern phase. i had one as a pet for 7 1/2 years. that is just a fairly young one, probably one year after the switch from tadpole to frog. that also looks female which would explain the lack of yellow on the throat. thoose frogs make amazing pets if you decide to keep it. they get big though. the foot should heal very fast they are like oscars in being indesructable. mine broke its leg, front left leg, and was fine and healed within a month. hope this helps:)
