And here is a pic of my first 2 I bought labeled as tiger oscars
The black one is three times as big as he is in that pic now and has lost most his orange/red coloring
But that first pic in the first post iv only ha for a week he still has all his orange

tiger, pattern will change once he gets older, cute little guy. kept and fed properly can expect him to be a good 8 to 9" in 8 months.

Yep, they're tiger oscars. And the orange coloration will most likely return as it gets older. Adult oscars tend to be the most colorful.

Oh well cool I was told my first blsck one was a common oscar sold as tiger awhile back .... Good to no it's a tiger .... My big one changes colors like crazy he is awesome turns green , blue, tan color stripes, solid black .... He a cool fish the way he does that ..... They r in a 60 gal and my small is in a 55 gal wit 2 Bichirs I'm gettin a 150 gal for my bday to last them 2 years with good filtration then I'm upgrading to a 300 gal
