It is a carpinte, hard to tell what the catch location is. If you can't find that out from the source, you will probably never know.

Some location differences are the distance of only a kilometer or two, some may be the difference between one lagoon across the highway from another pond. And carpintus is in general, a very variable species.
Just looking at it , no way to tell.
And just a little tidbit, every state in Mexico that contains a lagoon, has one called Escondido, the one below, is in the Yucatan, and doesn't have carpintus
