ID please- and feeding question

Got some cichla (about 3") but need help with Id......sorry pics are bad quality. TIA

Right now I am feeding market shrimp, frozen bloodworm, and live(trying to train em to eat pellets.) Also has anyone fed their cichla frozen calamari? Is it ok to do so?

They love calamri! Just be sure to cut them up into bite size for them small bass.

in person it's easier to tell because the colors are different. But i've had some look like that and as they got bigger they turned out to be monos. i'm not expert though
