Hello all, after getting my new tank i also obtained this little fella- my mate said he was a juvvi but im not sure of what...
any help much appreciated

ive looked at Bolivian Butterfly but i dont think its one of them...

how do u think he would go with a texas?
once there both around 6cm? would a 75 gallon suffice?

Should be fine, they're a big aggressive Geophagus. 75 would be bare minimum for those two species but should suffice.

agreed, should be fine, they are aggressive enough to hang with comparable cichlids like chocolates, dempseys, etc.

you should post pictures again in a couple months just to confirm. most geo's look very similar when this size.
