id please ... brycon, dorado, or other

This guy is 6-7" listed as "barracuda" at a local LFS

Any help would be great.

Everything I've found says they are very active, very aggressive and will eat just about anything. And they should get about 18"

Will they keep the silver coloration, or get more gold like the dorado?

how can you tell the difference between the two?? sorry new to the hobby

brycon have more of a pointed snout and visually show their teeth more than a dorado. both are extremely active and get large but dorado grow alot faster.
