So, this is being sold on Craigslist as a "Green Terror Cichlid" I'm just curious what it actually is. Looks to me like a Trimac X _____
Any clue? 00X0X_iHbl1HugSnR_600x450.jpg

See, I wasn't sure if you could call it a flowerhorn. Because it looks so much like a Trimac to me. That I figured it was Trimac X something. I don't know a whole lot about FH's but I thought you needed to be a few generations in to be considered a real Flowerhorn. Feel free to educate me

Mate !!!!! Flowerhorns are a hybrid, orginally with a lot of Trimac in them. These days, there's so many different varients, and they've been bred so selectively, that they're almost a species in their own. Pure Trimacs are very hard to find these days.To find a pure trimac these days you'll have to go to a reputable dealer who specilizes in these fish !!!!!!!!

Yeah, I know how hard they are to find. Lol before I got my Festae I was searching for Trimac's. That was before I found this site and tangled up in cichlids and the like.

Yeah they are hard to find !!! but there might be some dealers available for trimacs!!!

This guy actually isn't a bad looking fish. To bad the guy is trying to sell him as an 8 inch green terror for 75$
