Middle of No Where
These fish were both caught in the canals of south florida so they could probably be from anywhere. I ddnt kno where else yo post these pics of 2 fish i have no clue what they are.
The first is a fish that is all over at night. they are extremely fast and shine blue when shined at with a flashlight. They have a fin structure like a flying fish. Srry for bad pic, they dont stop moving.
the second is a fish that i have only caught twice. the first time i ddnt take any pics. I have no clue on this one. Plss help.
Thnx to all.

no one....
seriously?

For what it's worth, I agree that one is a silverside; I don't know all the Florida/coastal silversides well enough to ID it further than that. If you can keep your silversides alive, congratulations! They're notoriously fragile.

Two is definitely a Seminole killi, looks just like mine. Seminoles are pretty aggressive for a Fundulus, just so you know. Mine even hounded the much larger sirens I kept with it for a while.

No, it isn't. F. majalis has a thicker body and rather different looking pattern. This fish is F. seminolis.
