Was given this little guy from a friend last weekend. So far havent been able to identify what he/she is. Apologies for the bad quality pics.

It's a bichir (Polypterus sp.). I think it's a Senegal bichir, but I could be wrong.

This is correct. Not a snakehead; a senegal bichir.
