ID please. Hericthys tamasopoenesis?

Sold to me as a Texas Cichlid about 2", but after doing some digging, it looks like different species, tamasopoensis. Can anyone confirm or ID?



Some larger pics of it I've googled do not have the iridescence. Will it lose iridescence as it grows larger?

H tamasopoensus is not something you'd usually find at a LFS, they are something you normally need to special order.

Looks like a carpintis to me. Tamos are relatively rare in the hobby, and are more torpedo shaped in my experience.
