Is this a bristlenose plec??? If so can i have the gender please?? NOTE: there are 2 different plecs im talking bout right now in pics. PLEASE ignore the giraffe catfish in the background this is JUST a grow out tank. One of several actually.

Thats a rubber nose pleco! As far as sexing it needs to be a lot bigger and even then it's near impossible to tell just from pictures.

What the hell is that?? The plec hasnt grown a millimeter in 8 months... i had another one that was 1.5 inches and didnt grow for 2 years. Until it died. Excuse the language but it was labeled as bristlenose.

Looks like chetasoma type species. Not sure on the spelling. Not sure on the trade name but rubber nose plec sounds good. Worth way more than a common bristle nose.

Usually you can tell sex of bristol by the bristols.... i believe the male is very bushy with bristols and female hardly any..
