I got variants very similiar to that from Peru. I have heard people call them Orbigyni and Hystrix..
I still don't think it's quite classified yet.. I would treat it like a Motoro variant. They are very common, estimate they grow to 18-24" and should be prolific breeders if you get the chance.

Yepezi it is then, do I have to (or should I) get an exact match for a pair? And are they fast growers compared to say retics which I also keep? Pic coming up so hopefully you can sex it? Shop said female but then they said hystrix...?
