idk what this is, got it a month ago, been feeding it hikari gold, and the fins have been getting a lot redder

i think its an acara of some sort, but not sure

i am just wondering since i want to breed it, see how big it gets if i need a bigger tank, etc. thank you guys

Try researching paratheraps synspilum, not an expert on them but that's what it looks like to me

hes now 4.5 inches, feeding him the hikari gold pellets vs. tetracolor flakes really brought out his color. his fins are now rainbow and his face and belly have deep red scales
