Yeah, I think it is. He just took those two pics last night. He said he bought it as an orange pike.

Poor thing. That is terrible hole in the head an lateral line. Unless you are just trying to rescue it from it's shameful care taker I would pass on it. He should mail it to you for free so it would have a better home.

He's in a 55G right now and I have a 150G that he would be going in so it would be a lot better for him...

id say go for it. xingu 1's are gorgeous and with some proper care the HITH will clear up. i think that fish deserves a better home.
