I bought this from a vendor who has lots of these in various sizes but mine doesn't look like Aquamojo's juvies. It was supposed to be zonatus, any opinions? Either way I love this fish he's seriously very entertaining to watch. Sorry for crappy pics i tried with flash and without. Thanks in advance.

Any vieja people out there with zonatum can confirm this is zonatus?

I do have a couple of zonatus it looks like mine when they were juvies you have to give them awhile to get that p
retty blue face and body mine are hitting the 6" mark and theyre really starting to show some color now

There's nothing to indicate that it's not a zonatum, so.... let's call it a zonatum.

Cool thanks, I saw mojo's juvies and started to wonder mine has very red fringes on anal, caudal and dorsal fins and his didn't at all so I was starting to wonder. Mine is about 3"

Did you get it at Animal Jungle? If so, I saw them and wondered the same thing. I have two zonatus that are about 6".

no acctually i got this lil guy from a vendor here on MFK so im pretty sure it is in fact a zonatus, BUT i was just looking for positive identification from you experts
