ID please was labbeled as "tiger datnoid"

Hello...

Please ID this... my first Datnoid, really didn't want it but it was 75% off so i paid 10 bucks for it.

It looks like there is imperfection on the bottom lip/chin area, there seem to be extra "growth" there which i thought it was some kind of fungus but closer inspection appear to be part of the fish.

Any info on the ID would be greatly appreciated...

Its about 3" right now.. I have to read more about datnoids.. i been mostly SA and pleco person. I thought it was a good deal that I couldn't pass on.

keep an eye on any cihclids if they can fit in the tigers mouth, they may well get eaten.

You dont have to burn me, im just asking for the ID and I can learn. I might end up not keeping it as i know they grow pretty big.. The fish store was closing down, thats the reason i bought it.
