yes they are alligator gars..how big are they right now?
 
The guy selling them says 20 inches. Even with my 1100 gallon tank these things are going to get too large.

I having a hard time finding Florida or Spotted Gar.

No way are they 20". THey look completly different at those sizes.

Maybe combined they make 20 but not singly(is that a word?:hypnotize).

just to let you know why it's said that they don't look 20", cause by that time, an alligator gar would have packed in much much more width and would be a whole lot thicker
 
measuring fish via photos is generally pretty tough and only accurate with some other object(s) to reference scale, but compared to other specimens and other gars, i would say those fish could easily be 14-15" (on the large side of the spectrum), but very doubtful that they're 20". that and most fish store owners are notorious for over-estimating size of their stock--
