"Climbing Perch", but which one?
Anabas testudineus,Ctenopoma kingsleyae, or something else?
This specimen is around 8" Looks/swims like a giant gourami meets african aro

Yeah i think it's Ctenopoma kinsleyae because of the black dot. Just google it you'll see.

it is Ctenopoma kingsleyae, i used to have 3, 2 jump out the tank dry and one left, would find one or few for my fish tank mate.
so where are you getting

Paid $35 at an lfs, which wasn't bad considering it's size.

Thanks M|L, never seen one before, so I had to get it. Seems to be doing well so far, even the more aggressive fish leave it alone for some reason.
