Crenicichla semifasciatus perhaps. Very cool fish anyway!

I think it is either some form of Gaucho or possibly from the Lacustris family

I don't believe it is Semi after looking at DavidWPG's on pg. 31 of Pike photo shoot.
I think it Hadrian has it with a lacustris after comparing some at Cichlidae. Which I do not know.
Eyes appear higher up and larger with the Semis, plus the semis don't show red in the caudal.

thanks.. I bought him (I think it's a male) labeled C. gaucho Argentina but this guy looks different from other member's gaucho pics on here.
