ID please

need an ID on this little guy. (bought as a syno cat but i dont know what kind)

I found pics that look much similar and they are labeled as Synodontis Eupterus, however in other searches, they look totally different even at the same size, although I still think my ID is correct. If it is, it will look nothing like that as an adult, as the stripes will dissapear and turn into spots.
Also, your first pic doesnt seem to be loading.

yeah, thats what i thought but he spends a lot of time upside-down( i was worried he was an upside down cat and would get eaten) how big do the usually get? i've heard anywhere from 5-12 inches.

6 -7 inches is more realistic.

hard to say exactly how long depends on all sorts of factors. Water quality, diet, etc

such a good looking syno. How much did it cost you and where did you find it?

they are relatively cheap. I honestly think that petsmart overcharges. BUt you can get them at petsmart for 15.99. And most LFS carry them. I got mine off of a trade-in, for like 7 bucks or something like that. But beware. That is definately not the adult patterning. They turn a brown with black spots.
