Picked up from petco for $2.99. Originally thought it was an albino electric yellow, Now I can't decide. Please provide scientific name if possible. Thanks!

Can't get a good pic of the little snot. He is always moving. He is approximately 1/2 inch in with a 1 inch YBSxRES.

I dont think so , it looks like a albino peacock juvie. Im 99.99 sure. Look at the shape of the dorsal fin and the belly and head. Its a peacock (auloncara ), which one im not sure but it resembles my albino strawberry peacocks (they are a hybrid of several auloncara albinos) with the pink and yellows. check it out:

The difference is in the mouth, the fish he has pictured has the mouth of a mbuna no that of an alonocara, plus it lacks the broken coloration in the tail and anal fins of peacocks.

Okay so I wanted to know for sure so I took one of his pictures and adjusted the exposure on it. I tried to bring out more of the fishes natural color, It really looks like it lacks some of the paterns that the albino peacocks have. Ya'll tell me.

bump to continue the debate. If it matters, to the naked eye, it has verticle barring that you can not see in any of the pics

Does it have markings on the fins like cichlidgirl's albino peacocks?
