ID please

I picked this up the other day. The title onthe tank said it was a "blue ram." Is this correct, my brother said he looked it up and it wasn't. What is it?

not a blue ram for sure, but i'm leaning towards more of a betta type of fish or a dwarf cichlid...sorry i couldn't help you much

probably a african. Looks similar to a jewel to me but I know it's not a jewel.

Incase you couldn't tell, it is about 2" maybe2.5".

No, I don't think it is a Badis. Its fins are not sharp like the badis's.

I've seen it pecking at the gravel. Does that help at all?
