Is this peacock bass ocellaris? That's what the owner at my lfs told me. sorry for the bad picture...thats the best i can do. Thanks

yes, it's a peacock bass.. looks like probably an orinocensis.. but kinda tough to tell in those pics.

he said the same thing about the other peackock bass he had in before that they were ocellaris. These look different from the one he had before so i was wondering. Theres about 5 of them and the biggest one in there is around 5 inch. smaller one were $25 and the bigger one were $35.

actually i dont think their orino there head shape is very odd.
and from what i see in those pictures your mystery cichla is most probably a ocell. My ocell kinda looks like that.

i dont think its an orino, it could possibly be ocell or mono..

My store actually got a few of them, they are indeed hybrids.
