Hey guys and gals, when I bought these fish my LFS was having a 1 day 50% off sale, and I picked them really quick because this place was PACKED. I know the one is some kind of Aulunocara, but not sure exactly which. I know he's still young, but was hoping someone might know what he is, and the other one looks like a Pseudotropheus Acei, but he has bold vertical stripes and a much nastier disposition. Any takers? :D Thanks!

The second and third pics are of the same fish...taking pictures of fish is a lot of work. They don't sit STILL! :nilly:

What LFS is this?! :)

I think it's too early to tell what it is. Needs to color up.

Yeah I figured that'd be the case with the peacock, but any idea on the other one? I suppose it's some kind of Mbuna, and he looks like my acei's, but he's something different... The LFS is Tropical Fish World in Gaithersburg. Fantastic store, IMO. Very knowledgeable staff, very helpful every time I go there.

EDIT: By the way please ignore this alexheath guy. He's tried to throw everyone off in several threads now, just to be obnoxious. No point in even paying attention to him.

2. Maybe Labidochromis sp. "Hongi"
Okay yeah that's definitely the Hongi. There were a few names written on the tank where he was, but there weren't pictures. And Hongi was written on that tank when I bought him. Thanks! I guess I'll have to wait for the peacock to grow before I know for sure, but I know he's going to be stunning, based on the adult peacocks I've seen. I've also got an albino that I HOPE will look like one adult albino peacock where I bought him that was white with red eyes, but with red fins on the bottom. It was beautiful! :nilly:

at least we definately know its not a sunfish like some "marine biologist" was saying:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

sorry to break the new but that is probably a female jacob friebergi otter point... They do have nice solor for females as far as aulonacara types go :) I ended up with 2 females that look the same that I hoped would get male coloration as they got bigger but have not... still nice pickup now you need to find a male just like me ;) let me know if you find one I havn't had any luck yet...
