These are the two types of gars I always see in my neighborhood.

I think the top one is a spotted gar and the bottom one is a gator gar.

Are these out in the wild or is in this someones tank?

Top looks like a Florida and bottom looks like a Gator Gar

Those gars belonged to my friend. Unfortunely on the very day I took the photos, they jumped out from the container through a narrow gap on top of the container and when my friend found out, their body had already dried out. He said he kept the fish this way for many months and didn't know why they suddenly decided to jump out through that narrow gap. I hope there was nothing to do with my photo taking....
