It's a ps. elongatus, looks like mpanga to me (could be a chailosi, but I'm leaning towards mpanga).

Is he always that color or does he get lighter with a more vibrant bars?

P. elongatus. Variant is either Mphanga/Mpanga or Chailosi. Could be others but those were the closest matches I could think of right off the top of my head.

Looks like P. aurora. The photo is dark. Does look like it might be P. sp. zebra long pelvic but I'm not so sure considering the large eye is a trait of P. aurora and and P. aurora complex mbuna. Some better lighting would help but I'm thinkin it's P. aurora.
