Just got this spur of the moment. It was in tank of random africans- so not sure what this is. It was a lot darker before- in terms of richness in blue, but since it's been chasing its reflection it's faded down. I've kept mbuna in the past- but i'm clueless on haps or whatever this is. someone said it might be a electric blue hap?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'd say by the face shape and blue coloring, it's a young electric blue.

I agree, looks like a juvi electric blue peacock, a bit stressed in a new home:

agreed on the hap "electric blue" only not on the ahli part... ahli is a different fish than fryeri

To tell the difference in peacock and hap... look at the mouth. To tell a fryeri from an Ahli (hardly found in hobby) ahli has bigger eyes.
