yeah looks like nicaraguense to me but aren't they supposed to have blue around their faces or is that just on the females?

Probably around $20 give or take.

I sold about a dozen 4-5 inch nics to my lfs for $50. He turned around and sold them for $10 each.

definatly looks fem to me- i have a male that looks almost identical to that one. there are 3 different varietys of nic. some have the blue face- some have the checkered pattern an a then the gold one like we ve got. i paid 8 bucks for mine. ive seen them go for 14 or so. kinda a rarer cichlid. nice find. fairly aggressive too. i have mine in with a 12 in jag an a 7 inch green terror an a 11 inch flowerhorn an he holds his own.
