Nice Florida Gar... Good little set of markings and his snout looks to be in good condition. As far as sitting on the bottom, sometimes they can be lazy mofos.
He'll wake up quick once you throw some feeders in

my guy has 2 spots he chills at... ones at the bottom on a chunk of driftwood.. the others at the top by the intake tube. I'de just be carefull w/ the heater horizontal like that.. incase he decides to lay ontop of it. And cute lil' guy!
