What kind of thorichthys is this? It was sold to me a ellioti, but I am starting to question that. It is over 5'' long. Sorry for the crappy pics.

could be the type of enviorment it is in and it feel comfortable with those colors and as it gets older colors will come in more there could be other reasons such as ph or other water levels in the water which can be checked by doing water test.

Thanks. The params are 0 amonia 0 nitrite and 20 nitrate, 7 ph and temp is 78-82 F. He us in a 25g w/ 4 swordtails. Could it be the diet? He eats blood worms, carnivore sinking pellets, swordtial fry, and sometimes flake food. I have been trying to get him to take some veggie based foods, but haven't had any luck.
