haha thanks. im guessing its a mix with a kamalau. it has characteristic of both. but i can be wrong. i didnt notice the kok on the head until now. lol.

i think i got a bargain for it. i was driving around fish stores in La and i happen to run into this rundown small place and it was there. the fish is about 7 inches and was in a community tank with pbass, pacus, lrg catfish, red devils etc. and first i thought it was a male but i ask the owner and she was like its a female and laid eggs not to long ago. and i was like oh **** i want it now. Lol so i offered 50 dollars for it and she was like i dont know the price. so i waited like 15 mins the other owner walks in and he goes like you can take it for 40 plus tax. so i was like ill take it right away. lol. if it is a zz then i think i made a great investment.

i look a closer look earlier and it does have slightly yellow face. but i still dont know 100%. its a possibility though. sadly the fish store i picked it up from doesnt know either. im guessing a customer dropped it off at the store.
