I've had this fish for a while. when i first got him i thougth he was a blue eyed ciclid. but his eye inst blue at all. its black and hes dossent seen to macth any fish on the internet. could you please tell what hes is (thanks in advance)

Looks like a Red Devil, but depending on where it was purchased from it's probably a Red Devil x Midas. Not many LFS or places like Petsmart or Petco sell pure species. Almost always mixed.

It's either a Red Devil, Midas, or a combination of the two. They are very active and entertaining fish. But they have to be housed in the right sized aquarium and tank mates must be appropriate if at all possible. If you decide to keep it, you'll watch it grow to a healthy and big specimen. i will,hes in a 55 with an oscar 2 id catfish,plec and a banded leporinus (will upgrade) thankyou guys for all the help
