these are my 3 newest cichlas, they were labeled wild caught Cichla sp Colombia but i hope the experts can help me id these. comparing with my other monoculus in the tank, the new ones are more colorful and have more markings on the body. they are about 6.5 to 7 inches.
i got them for 2,000 pesos, thats about $45 each. pretty cheap considering some of the guys sell their monoculus, orinos and tems at the same price. kelberi here cost more than double about $100, and Piquiti or Azul would probably cost $350 and up here in Manila. do you have any idea what these guys are i guess its a hybrid of some sorts or a really nice strain of monoc or ocell?
