ID Please

Hello Everyone, i recently got this pleco from my little brother. i am having trouble identifying it. its definitely not a common pleco, but what it is i have no idea. Sorry about the poor quality and water spots. i willendeavour to get a better photo in the next couple days.

thanks guys. i am a little confused when it comes to plecos. it has a nice pattern and is about 4 inches long. I hope it doesn't get as big as a common pleco, i think a little research is in order

no prob. they will easily hit 12" mark, and can surpass that too with the right care. feed mainly veggies, with occasional meat like worms, prawns, beefheart, molluscs etc

you noticed the difference. it is in the same genus, glyptoperichthys, but a different species to the gibbiceps

They will definitely surpase 12", I've seen them up to 14". I would recommend feeding a balanced diet of veggies and meats.
