Thanks now i can figure out how big they will get i had three but one did t grow as fast and they beat him up pretty bad and he didnt make it after the hospital tank. One is darker and one lighter the darker one has made a bed but the other doesn't want anything to do with it.

They don't get much bigger..up to 3-6 inches max

Just FYI those are illegal to keep here in IL as they are a protected species. Cool aquarium fish though as they don't get very big and are pretty personable. You get those at Oakwood Bottoms?
