anyone know what this is? i think its a mystus of some kind not sure tho. srry bout bad pics

its not an id shark but i dont blame u for thinkin so, these pics are horrible. ill try to post som better ones, but these are propably the best i can do.
 
It's some kind of Mystus catfish. I don't remember the name, but I can tell what they are.

post if you remember, i think your right. maybe necrocanis will know, he knows everythin about catfish.
 
Is that a black spot behind the gill covers? If so I narrow it down to three species. Mystus vittatus, M. tengara, and M. bleekeri. Vittatus and tengara have identical markings at a young age. Vittatus will get to about 10-11 inches where tengara only gets about 4-5 inches max! Hope this helps. Too hard to tell for certain from the pics though.
 
i looked up your guesses on the internet, and the pictures of mystus vittatus matched my fish perfectly. thnx necrocanis, its amazing how you were able to id my fish despite the bad pics.
 
I finally remembered today and I was going to say M. Vittatus, but it looks like necrocanis beat me to it. :thumbsup:
