I'm pretty sure it's an African feather fin, not sure. Saved him from Walmart 2 or so years ago, and just wondering and will he hurt my fire eel or oscars? Oscars 3 inches fire eels 10-12.

With proper care, that fish can live for over 10 years.

Tom, it's not a Lace Cat. Those are Synodontis nigrata. Walmart just gets whatever there supplier sends them as the Synodontis of the week and lists them as Lace Cats. All my Euptera are out of Walmart "Lace Catfish" tanks. I just walk by everytime I am in to check whether it is nigrata or euptera that week and if its the later a save afew bucks over ever other pet stores prices.
